Workshops
Football freestyle can be learned by anyone! Under this motto Samu has run workshops with participants of every age – from school beginners to seniors, there are enough tricks for everyone. In groups of ten to 25 participants, Samu can teach his skills best.
A workshop usually starts with a short show of the tricks Samu has learned in more than ten years. Then the workshop begins with the absolute basics, gradually raising the difficulty. Workshops last 60 to 90 minutes and focus on the freestyle fundamentals: tricks with the lower body (lowers), upper body (uppers) and while sitting (sitdowns).
- Workshops suit participants with and without football experience
- Without football experience a minimum age of eight is recommended, with experience from 6-7 years
- Every participant should have their own ball (any normal football works)
- A football pitch or an event location with enough open space should be organised
- Except in summer, a covered location is recommended
- Sound equipment for the opening show is provided by Samu

Do participants need previous experience?
No. The workshop starts with the basics and adapts to the level of the group – mixed groups work well, too.
What age is the workshop suitable for?
Without football experience a minimum age of eight is recommended, with experience from 6-7 years – and there is no upper limit; there are enough tricks for every age.
What does the organiser need to provide?
A football pitch or an event location with enough open space – except in summer, a covered location is recommended. Every participant should have their own ball (any normal football works). Sound equipment for the opening show is provided by Samu.
